Laetitia Barblan, née à Genève en 1973.
Vit et travaille entre Locarno et Uerikon sur les bords du lac de Zurich.
Je suis fascinée depuis toujours par le textile qui unit couleur et matière, deux dimensions ouvrant des espaces infinis de création.
Je tisse et teins des fibres en m’inspirant de différentes techniques, à la recherche de nouvelles structures et de sensations tactiles.
Que ce soit pour la décoration d’intérieur ou pour la confection de vêtements et d’accessoires, il est essentiel que le design et la forme gardent une ligne épurée.
De préférence, je choisis des matières naturelles plus facilement recyclables et écologiques pour réaliser mes créations.
De la pièce unique à la production de séries limitées, je développe chaque projet avec minutie et originalité.
Laetitia Barblan, born in Geneva in 1973.
Lives and works in both Locarno and Uerikon on the shores of Lake Zurich.
I have always been fascinated by textiles which unite colour and material, two dimensions which open up infinite creative areas.
I weave and dye fibers, taking my inspiration from various techniques, searching for new structures and tactile sensations.
Whether for interior decoration or for making clothing and accessories, it is essential that the design and shape keep to simple lines.
For the realization of my creations, I prefer to work with natural materials, more ecological and easily recyclable.
From a unique item to the production of a limited series, I develop each project with meticulousness and originality.
